Now, some people (probably even some of you) are gawking at the fact that we are about to, in 4 days, embark on a 16 hour road trip - one way - with a nearly 8 week old. Crazy, huh?!
Now, I think we might be going a little crazy with what we are taking because we have the rental van. I'm sure we could make it work if we were flying. For instance, we are taking his little bath tub and all of his bath stuff. I'm sure we could get away with a sponge bath using whatever our parents have at their houses, but since we have the van, we want them to get the full experience that we go through every other night.
Then, why not take the diaper genie. I mean, Mark goes through a ton, and I mean a TON, of diapers. And with the unknown of a 16 hour road trip, one way, we don't want to go through a dozen of the little baggies we have for diapers after every diaper change.
Now, a very important question to all you parents that are seasoned travelers. What is the one most important item you will always pack when road-tripping with a baby? We need to know if we should add anything on our list!
Check back in two weeks for an update on how our road trip actually went! And, don't forget to share your one item you recommend we take!
Hi there! I'm Kara, of taking KARA myself! I've dabbled in blogging off and on for a while now. Mostly off. But I'm trying to change that and make a dent in this side of the world wide web. Enjoy!
