My husband and I are trying to get back into the habit of cooking more. Well, cooking for him/us, and baking for me. There was a time that I was baking at least once a week. Now...not so much; which, our waist lines are probably thankful for that. :)
Yesterday Dustin made macaroni salad, which was very mediocre. I don't blame my husband, but me for the recipe I found was just OK. The burgers we had were pretty tasty, but the part of the meal that took the cake - no pun intended - was the cheesecake! I had never made cheesecake before, but am sure glad I tried. I officially have a thing. Cheesecake!!!
After Dustin and I try a new meal we always ask "what would you do different?"
Well, the only thing I would do different here is not use a disposable pie pan that cost $1.00. I would buy an actual Springform Pan. Why? The cheesecake was SO good, it deserves to be made in a pan that was meant for making cheesecakes. If you use a Springform pan, then double the filling ingredients. We made double what I listed, and used 2 different pie pans.
Hi there! I'm Kara, of taking KARA myself! I've dabbled in blogging off and on for a while now. Mostly off. But I'm trying to change that and make a dent in this side of the world wide web. Enjoy!
