After making this dozens of times, I will tell you this - I very rarely follow the recipe below. Yes, that is the shell of the main recipe, but if you have a bigger pan that requires more bread, or you buy a disposable deeper one-time use pan, you might make more. So, I say try it out in a regular 9x13 pan with the below instructions, and then deviate as needed in the future.

Just know that the bigger and thicker you make it, the longer it will need to bake. Sometimes I just turn the oven on to 375-400 degrees and let it go for 45 minutes. Pretty much when you stick a fork in the middle and it comes out clean, it is done.
I swear by this recipe, and couldn't be more thankful for my mother-in-law passing it on to me a couple years ago! Dustin and I make it for most holidays, and I have also introduced it to many coworkers.
